Unfortunately, it is not by implementing more technological tools that the problem is solved. ![]() MSPs report that the main obstacles to managing more of their customers’ SaaS tools are the lack of suitable relationships with line of business decision makers (44%), lack of suitable tools (41%) and lack of trust (39%). However, there is high growth potential for Service Providers able to show their customers the benefits of unified licensing, onboarding, security and performance of their SaaS applications. This discrepancy causes increased customer vulnerability, because SaaS data is not adequately protected and MSPs have limited visibility into these environments. MSPs also report that they only manage an average of 58% of their customers’ SaaS tools, and only 3% say they manage all of them (100%). MSPs say their customers use an average of 14 SaaS tools, a finding consistent with recent research conducted by Acronis on end users. To provide Cyber Security, backup and / or disaster recovery services, MSPs use an average of 4 vendors 30% report using more than 5. To counter this sense of vulnerability, many MSPs have added other tools to their technology stack.
